Tom Deaders I bought this purely for the fact that Jean Baudin was featured on it. Then there were some beautiful pieces on there, so I can't complain. Favorite track: Eternal Waltz.

about

The title The Things We Remember was originally developed as a sort of sarcastic humor towards my own mind: I always seemed to remember the bad side of things and regret a lot of it. Throughout the course of composing the album, I started to see the brighter and more optimistic sides of things. At that point, I thought a change in album title was necessary, but I realized there wasn't any better fit. To me, it's a throwback of memories, both the good and the bad, and trying to analyze each on of them. The album artwork is made to symbolize a simpler and happier time that I would imagine in one's life. I don't have a specific message or set-in-stone interpretation I want people to get; I want listeners to conjure up their own interpretation of each and every song, hopefully finding some sort of theme meaningful to themselves.

All songs are original compositions or arrangements by myself, Patrick Witt, EXCEPT FOR Norwegian Wood which was originally written by The Beatles (specifically John Lennon and Paul McCartney) and is just an interpretation I created for solo bass.
